The Ohio State Society of Enrolled Agents was chartered in January, 1996, as an affiliate of the National Association of Enrolled Agents.
The founders of OSSEA were driven by a desire to be part of a national organization that has the ability to shape or influence tax policies and procedures on the national, state and local levels.
From an initial membership of 80+ in January 1996, the OSSEA has grown to a membership of 270+. OSSEA membership includes Ohio-based: Enrolled Agents, Circular 230 professionals, and those tax professionals currently experiencing the Special Enrollment Exam process. OSSEA also allows NAEA members from surrounding states to elect the Ohio affiliate as a second membership.
The focus of the organization is on the enrolled agent, and because of this focus, all OSSEA board members are active enrolled agents.
For information about OSSEA membership, please contact Pamela Foster, firstname.lastname@example.org
The Ohio State Society of Enrolled Agents (OSSEA) is the only professional association representing Enrolled Agents (EAs) in Ohio. Members are licensed by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), including examination, collection and appeals.
This website is the information and resource center for OSSEA members and OSSEA associates. OSSEA is an affiliate of the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA). We encourage all tax practitioners to consider the benefits of joining and applying for membership. For other visitors, we invite you to browse our consumers or media pages.
